This notice explains how Velocity Motor Group uses information collected through this website and its enquiry forms.
Who to contact
Velocity Motor Group, Suite 7, Fordham Worksroom, 17 Fordham Street, London, England, E1 1HS. For privacy questions or requests, email info@velocitymotorgroup.co.uk.
Information you provide
Vehicle sale enquiries may include your name, contact details, postcode, vehicle registration, mileage, vehicle specifications and condition notes. Partnership enquiries include your contact details, optional company name, partnership type, coverage area and message. Please do not include identity documents, bank details, medical information or another person’s claim details in these forms.
How we use it
We use enquiry information to respond, discuss services or a potential purchase or partnership, and manage the resulting correspondence. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, we use the information for those steps. For general business correspondence, service administration and security, we rely on our legitimate interests. Optional analytics is used only with your consent. Agreeing to be contacted about an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Services involved
Our website is hosted through Cloudflare, which may process sign-in information and technical security logs. Vehicle registrations are sent to Zyfy to retrieve vehicle and MOT information. Submitted forms are sent through Resend to our business email service. If you choose WhatsApp, your prepared enquiry opens in WhatsApp and is sent only when you choose Send. Instagram and Google Maps links take you to those providers; their own privacy notices apply.
These providers may process data outside the UK. Where international transfer safeguards are required, we use applicable contractual and legal safeguards. We do not sell enquiry information.
Keeping your information
Enquiries are delivered to our business inbox rather than stored in a separate website enquiry database. We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, meet applicable record-keeping requirements or resolve disputes. Provider logs and security records may have separate retention periods. Contact us to discuss a particular record.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful use. Contact us at the email above to make a request. You can also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
